My Shipping Post is a software and hardware solution based out of Bozeman, Montana. The idea started in 2015 when Aaste Palczewski managed a mail service provider facility and was tasked with finding a solution to create Intelligent Mail Package Barcodes (IMpb) to qualify their packages for commercial rates. After many hours of researching and evaluating the available package processing solutions, she kept coming to the same realization. All these solutions were overpriced and provided little value to the company and its customers. That night at dinner she shared her frustrations with her husband, Dillon Palczewski, and she described what would be the perfect software for both mail service providers and their customers. Dillon, who has always had an entrepreneurial mindset said, “let’s build it”. Not long after that, they secured funding from investors who owned mail service provider facilities, and a year later the first version of the My Shipping Post platform was born!
